How do I connect the F1Laps MCP to ChatGPT or Claude?
The F1Laps MCP is the secure, read-only connection between your F1Laps account and a compatible AI assistant. Connect it once, then ask questions about your saved laps in normal language.
Use this server address in your AI assistant:
https://www.f1laps.com/mcp
What can the F1Laps MCP do?
You can ask it to:
- Find your latest or fastest laps
- Compare two laps and explain where the time changed
- Compare your lap with your personal best or the fastest public leaderboard lap
- Review your car setup against the community range
- Summarize your best times and recent progress by track
- Estimate a matching AI difficulty from your lap time
For example, ask: "Compare my fastest Silverstone lap with the fastest public leaderboard lap."
Basic lap summaries, setups, and AI difficulty are available to every F1Laps account. Detailed telemetry needs a Champion plan, an active Champion trial, or eligible legacy access.
Before you connect
You need a F1Laps account with at least one saved lap. You can add laps manually or record them automatically with F1Laps Telemetry.
