How do I run the F1Laps Telemetry App in debug mode?
Note: This guide applies to the legacy Windows desktop app. The current F1Laps Telemetry App is available from the Microsoft Store and does not require debug mode. See the Windows setup guide for the current app.
If you're experiencing crashes or technical issues with the legacy Windows telemetry app, you can run a debug version that displays additional logging information.
Download Debug Version
Download the console version of the F1Laps Telemetry App:

How It Works
When you run the debug version:
- Extract the ZIP file

- An additional Command Prompt window will appear (black window with white text)
- This console displays additional logging information as the app runs
When to Use Debug Mode
Use the debug version when:
- The standard app crashes unexpectedly
- Telemetry data isn't being captured
- You need to report a technical issue to support

When contacting support about a technical issue:
- Run the debug version and reproduce the problem
- Copy the text from the console window
- Include the console output in your support message along with:
- Description of the issue
