PC Players

No separate device needed. You can run the F1Laps Telemetry App on the same computer where you play the F1 game. The app runs in the background while you race.

Console Players (PlayStation / Xbox)

Yes, you need a separate device. Since you can't install apps on your console, you'll need another device on the same WiFi network to capture the telemetry data:

• Phone or tablet - Use the iOS app on iPhone or iPad
• Computer - Use the Windows or macOS app on a laptop or desktop

Why Is This Needed?

The F1 game broadcasts telemetry data over your local network. The F1Laps app listens for this data and captures it. On PC, both can run on the same machine. On consoles, you need a separate device to receive the broadcast.
